Just got to know you have this blog and also fb page and I was pleasantly shocked to see all the pictures – my grand mother used to make the Bombe for every festival and she also knew so many sampradaya hadugalu puje galu- I never had a chance to learn from her- and now to see this is like finding a night for me. A guinness record holder in rangoli art. i came across your blog very interesting facts and drawings of rangolis. i am very interested in exploringon traditional designs . also i would like to knoe the meaning of various designs/symbols you have done on Gopadma rangoli? please explain. when and why it is drawn?
Also what are the things you have kept on both sides of Rathasapthami rangoli inside small squars? and why? what is the significance.

I like your blog a lot and I follow it often. I have found so many songs/shlokhas that I otherwise don’t find else where easily. The best part is you have the lyrics stored as pdf’s in so many languages (Telugu for me is very helpful). Having it as pdf’s has helped me print easily. Thank you for having this blog with lot of useful information.
